Summer 2026 Workshop Enrolment Form
Responses to Theatre -  Hamlet - 28-30th July 2026

Open to anyone aged 13-18, this workshop is structured around the various ways in which we can respond to theatre, specifically Hamlet, and involves working on different theatrical styles as well as technical elements. There will be thoughtful discussion, acting exercises, and improvisation, followed by a range of performed responses including monologue work, scene studies, and a group devised piece bringing themes from the play into the present day. The workshop is held over three days, and includes a performance to friends and family on Thursday 30th after the workshop ends (at 5:45pm).

Please complete the form below, or insert the information into the body of an email (and send to youthliaison@progresstheatre.co.uk) to enrol.

Fee is £100 per student PYT member, and £120 per student non-PYT member, and includes a ticket to Progress Theatre's production of Hamlet in the Abbey Ruins, Reading (15th-25th July 2026, matinees Saturdays 18th and 25th, no performance Sunday 19th). After enrolment an invoice will be issued for payment.

We offer a discount code of 25% to families booking tickets to Hamlet, with a PYT summer workshop attendee. Attendance at Progress' Hamlet is highly encouraged, and included in the price of the workshops, but not mandatory. Familiarity with the play is sufficient. Enrolment in the workshop does not guarantee tickets will be available for families to use their discount on their preferred day - book early to avoid disappointment!
