Congressional Academy 2019 Application
If you are a rising high school senior, we hope you will apply for this two-week opportunity to deepen your understanding of our nation's history and government and interact with peers from throughout the country! Strengthening Democracy through History and Civics will be held July 7-20, 2019.

This academy will occur at the same time and venue as a Presidential Academy for teachers. We strongly encourage teams of a teacher and two students to apply conjointly from the same school or school district.

Applications are due March 1, 2019. Selected participants will be notified April 1, 2019. Please fill out the application below. We highly recommend preparing and saving your short essay in another document and pasting the text into this form, so that no information is lost. In addition, please remember to submit a Parental Consent Form signed by a parent or guardian to the Center for Civic Education. The form is available at http://www.civiced.org/pdfs/academies/AcademiesParentalConsentForm.pdf.
