Study on the impact of changes to parental leave legislation on organizations
Dr. Rachael Pettigrew from Mount Royal University is exploring parental leave usage and how employers are adapting their policies and practices to the recent legislative changes to parental leave, which extended the maximum length of parental leave from 35 to 61 weeks. This research project has received ethics approval from Mount Royal University.

CPHR Alberta is a partner in this research project and is seeking members who are willing to to participate in a short 10-minute telephone interview with Dr. Pettigrew concerning their organization's policies and practices with respect to parental leave. CPHR Alberta will provide Dr. Pettigrew with the contact information provided below and she will contact interested individuals directly to obtain their consent, schedule an interview, and to answer any questions that potential participants might have.
