NARRATOR REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED
- More than 20 published works by the time of signing up
- Active on social media and with readers
- Audio Narration with Genres including Romance (all subgenres), Thrillers, Suspense, Urban Fantasy, Paranormal Romance & Contemporary Romance
VENDOR REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED
- Your shop has been active for over a year
- You provide bookish merch and content for sale
- You agree to make at least one or more AITBG-themed items for the event
- Active on social media and with readers
- Set up a preorder for our event
We are accepting authors, vendors, and narrators from all over the world. This event is not limited to those in Kentucky.
• • • MORE ABOUT THIS EVENT • • •Kiki Chatfield & Team at the Next Step PR will be hosting their 4th AUTHORS IN THE BLUEGRASS EVENT in 2028 and would love to showcase as many as we possibly can for this event.
Numbers we are working with:
60 -70 Authors
10 Narrators
15 Vendors
Table Fees are $450 for everyone
This event will be held at Central Bank Center, downtown Lexington. This space has plenty of parking for us and our readers! Event planning will occur closer to the announcement of this event but in the past we have had: Bourbon Tasting - Horse Races - Meet and Mingle - Circus VIP Party & Soiree
Hotel information might change for the 2028 event, but when we lock in those contracts you will be the first to know once you have been a confirmed attendee.
We can't wait to show you our beautiful state, share these amazing writers, narrators, and vendors with the reading community & enjoy some of the best horse racing in the world, along with some possible bourbon tasting too! Horse races aren’t always a guarantee but you can book times at the track or do a private tour! Same with bourbon tours, if we do not host one, feel free to come in early or stay later and book a tour.
