January 2018 SacPOST Outreach Volunteer Application

The training will be held at the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2425 Stockton Boulevard, Sacramento, CA 95717. The room assignment will be provided in your confirmation e-mail.

Thank you for your interest in helping the Sacramento Rescue and Restore Coalition provide businesses with locally designed posters with vital information about human trafficking and the National Human Trafficking Hotline number.

Our day of action will include training on human trafficking, SB 1193 (Civil Code section 52.6) canvassing, safety protocols and an opportunity for participants of prior SacPOST events to share about their experiences.

All persons interested in participating in our day of action must:
• Be at least 18 years of age as of January 15, 2018, and
• Submit a volunteer application by 5 p.m. on Monday, January 15 by answering all of the question below

Please bring a government-issued picture form of identification with you to the day of action. You will be asked to show identification to verify the information you provided in your application.

By submitting an application to be a SacPOST outreach volunteer, you are agreeing to attend the full training as well as participate on an outreach team until the earlier of completion of your team assignment or 3 p.m. that day if your application is approved.

In the past, SacPOST has involved outreach to establishments such as bars, hotels and motels, light rail stations, intercity passenger rails (Amtrak and Greyhound), gas stations, massage parlors, emergency rooms and urgent care centers. Our day of action may include, but may not be limited to, the types of establishments we have visited in the past. *
