Thanks for your interest in joining Susan Wagner Cook’s research lab at the University of Iowa. Our research focuses on how spoken language and hand gestures interact as people learn and communicate. As an undergraduate RA, you'll have opportunities to contribute at every stage—from designing studies to collecting, coding, and analyzing data.

We offer part-time volunteer positions, course credit, and federal work-study options. Course credit requires a 3:1 time commitment (e.g., 3 credits = 9 hours/week).
