2018 Saturday Serendipity Instructor Contract
The Moline Council for the Gifted hosts a one day event each year at Wilson Middle School to offer students fun, yet enriching activities, different than what is available at school. Classes differ each year and range from athletics to art to food. We are hoping you would be interested in teaching a class this year. The event this year is Saturday, March 10th from 9:00 am-1:30 pm.
You are able to choose the ages of your students, 1st through 5th grade, as well as the number of students, with a minimum of 12. You have the option to have an all day class with lunch in the middle or two shorter classes. Students may be asked to bring materials or pay a small, separate lab fee, which will be collected upon arrival by MCG to be disbursed. Please keep in mind that students already pay $35 to come to this event and may have to pay lab fees for both classes.
If you are interested, please fill out the attached form by January 28th.
You will be compensated $100 for your time! If you are not available, but know someone who would like to teach, feel free to pass along this message! We love having new teachers!
Completion of this form is agreeing to teach class for Moline Council for the Gifted's Saturday Serendipity program on March 10, 2018. Your class may be canceled or cut to one class, depending on attendance, which will change your instructor fee. Please provide details for your class for the course catalog. Please let us know if you need the information from your course from last year. Form must be returned by January 28th.
