The Waukesha Clean Water Plant serves the city of Waukesha and sections of surrounding communities with some of the highest water quality in the state. Explore the biological water treatment process, the equipment and facilities. The latest plant upgrade included resource recovery facilities and sustainable practices.

Nate Tillis has an associate degree in Environmental Health and Water Quality with MATC and a Bachelor’s degree with UW-Parkside in Sustainable Management. He has been in wastewater treatment for 17 years in municipal and industrial facilities. He now serves as Maintenance Supervisor with city of Waukesha Clean Water plant where he oversees maintenance staff, equipment reliability, and collections systems.
