Video ads that appear at the beginning, middle, or end of videos are becoming increasingly more intrusive on YouTube, but removing them is very unlikely, so the idea of a two-type advertising system came to mind: A and B, of which the currently existing video ads would be A. Type B would exist similarly to the banner ads that once existed on YouTube.

Proposed idea of a two advertisement system, ads are colored red

A:
- Must not exceed 10 seconds
- User can only skip it if the ad exceeds 5 seconds
- Has sound, but it must start and end with a fade for user comfort
- Lower amount than B ads, which is also proportional to the video length

B:
- Must not exceed 30 seconds
- User can skip/close ad sooner if using Premium subscription, otherwise user has to wait longer
- No sound
- Larger amount than A ads, which is also proportional to video length
Would you support the idea of introducing a YouTube Premium tier system? (For example, the more expensive Premium subscription would include all the benefits including no ads at all and the cheapest would only include some of the benefits and a large reduction of ads) *
Would you agree with the idea that the cheapest Premium tier could give the user the option to block one of the ad types completely (A or B), or reduce the total amount of ads (there would be the same mix of A and B ads but they would both appear less frequently).
The user would also be able to change this at any time in their Youtube settings.
