FAQs:

Q: How much is the cost?
A: Participation is free, VMB membership is appreciated but not required.
Donations to VMB in place of a membership are also welcome.

Q: Is a bike required?
A: Yes, we will ride a short distance along the trail to an area where the kids will play on the bike games Depending on the kids overall abilities we will decide on distance and additional section of trail to ride. A properly fitted helmet is also required.

Q: How far is the ride?
A: We will meet at the tennis court parking lot at Jordan Creek Parkway at 1401 Lehnert Rd, Whitehall PA and take an easy, non-technical singletrack type of terrain ride along the creek into the Ponds Loop or Luby Loops . We will take a break for fun games, session some areas and then return.

Q: Can a child ride with their parent instead of on their own?
A: It is possible for them to ride on a tagalong, shotgun type of seat or in a wagon and participate in the egg hunt. To participate in on-the bike games, a bike of their own or strider type bike will be needed.

Q: Can a child participate unsupervised?
A: No, parental/ guardian supervision is required. Adults may ride along or follow the group on foot. A bike is recommended. Please do not drop of children and leave.

Q: I have children who are older than 12, can they participate?
A: We love all kids on bikes, however this ride is geared towards our youngest riders. Older kids are welcome to come along with parents and younger siblings and help us play games, but please understand that this will not be a ride for the distance or fast pace.
