Employee Survey

“For people without disabilities, technology makes things easier. For people with disabilities, technology makes things possible.”

This quote has roots in an IBM Training Manual published over 30 years ago.  It illustrates the potential for technology to positively and profoundly impact the lives of people with disabilities.  Today, many people with disabilities, support providers, families and employers are advocating for the inclusion of technology at home, at work and in the community.  As a result, the term "Technology First" has become widely utilized and refers to programmatic changes that promote the application of technology as the first consideration in support planning.

Innovative agencies and providers interested in adopting a Technology First culture have chosen to undergo SHIFT credentialing, certification and accreditation. This proven model of excellence ensures that participating organizations are engaging in Technology First standardized, person-centered best practices.  As part of the accreditation process, organizations are required to conduct surveys.

You have been invited to complete one of these surveys.  Your responses are anonymous.  Aggregated data will be shared with the organization to help them improve systems and processes related to their Technology First approach.  We thank you in advance for taking the time to provide this valuable feedback.
