DATE: Monday 1st April - Wednesday 3rd April

VENUE: The city of Canberra

ACCOMMODATION: Bush Capital Lodge, 191 Dryandra St, O'Connor ACT 2602

ACTIVITIES: The children will be participating in supervised activities such as guided tours of the Old and New Parliament Houses, National Dinosaur Museum, Electoral Education Centre, Questacon (full itinerary will be provided)

COST: The cost for the three day camp is $330 this will be billed to you separately.

TRANSPORT: The students will be travelling by coach to and from each venue. They will need to be dropped off to school by 6:45am on Monday and picked up from school at 4pm on Wednesday

SUPERVISION: Mr. G.Beckett, Mr. G. Rashidi, Mrs. C. Miceli will be supervising the children on the camp.

Pillow slip, single bed sheet set or sleeping bag (ALL room beds MUST have a SHEET placed on the mattress whether using a sleeping bag or not. Failure to do so will result in additional cleaning costs for the school.)
Bath towel & toiletries
Sunscreen/personal insect repellent
Comfortable covered shoes (e.g joggers)
Shorts/board shorts
Long pants/track pants
Wet weather gear
Water bottle
At least three changes of clothes
A plastic bag for wet items
A few sensible snacks - avoid large bags of lollies

VALUABLES: Please do not bring any valuables such as; mobile phones, electronic games, iPods, jewellery etc.

Students are required to pack lunch and a snack for the first day. The coach will stop at McDonald on the way to Canberra as well as on the way back home. Students may bring money to purchase breakfast on the first morning and lunch on the return trip.

The teachers will have phones to contact the school or parents if needed.

The students will also be asked to sign a camp agreement. It is vital that students respond to instructions from both camp and school staff to ensure their personal safety and well-being and to show respect for others. Please discuss this with your child as any serious breach of the agreement will not be tolerated.

Parents are requested NOT to ring the camp site during the children's stay.

If you need to get an urgent message to your child, please ring the school.
