In 2024, nearly half of all arrests in Miami Beach have been of people experiencing homelessness.

LFG!!!! We’re moving forward with our Homeless Solidarity Rally and Sleepover tonight as planned at our original location, it looks like there may be little to no rain! We are working to buy ponchos for everyone, but please bring an umbrella if you can and dress accordingly in case we do get any showers.
Join us at 11th and Ocean directly across from the Versace mansion at 7pm. Please see the document linked in the What's App chat for lots of helpful info about the rally. You can find the parking/restroom guide as an attachement to this email.

Event Schedule-
- Saturday, August 3rd from 7pm-10pm: Rally with music, food, speakers, and candlelight vigil
- Saturday, August 3rd from 10pm - Sunday, August 4th at 7am: Civil disobedience action sleeping overnight at the park.**
**Anyone considering staying overnight for the civil disobedience portion of the event MUST speak with an organizer on site if they have not attended any of our previous prep zooms.
