2020-2021 Compass Academy Application
Compass Academy has 150 slots for incoming freshmen. 25 slots are reserved for a lottery for siblings of current Compass students who will still be at Compass for the next school year. Another 25 slots are reserved to ensure that Compass’s demographics are representative of the district. Those slots will be filled by students who meet certain criteria such as socioeconomic status, ethnicity, need for special programs, etc.

The remaining 100 slots will be filled by a general lottery, held . Results will be communicated via email on March 9, 2020. All students who have submitted an application and meet the eligibility requirements will be entered into the general lottery. Those who have earned additional chances by participating in various events and activities will be entered into the lottery multiple times, which will increase their chances of acceptance. (Please see the Overview of the “Compass Academy Application Process” on the district website for important dates and a complete list of activities.)

Applications will be accepted online or at the Idaho Falls District # 91 Office, 690 John Adams Parkway 7:30 am-4:30 pm each day through March 5. After March 5, we will accept applications for our waiting list through the rest of the school year.
