IQRA Academy of the Islamic Association of Cary (Cary Masjid) is pleased to inform you that Registration is now Open for the Hifth School year 2017-2018! Registration deadline is September 4th, and Space is Limited! We do not recommend waiting to register your children until the deadline is very close because it is very likely that all seats will be full soon.
In addition to Qur'an Memorization under supervision of highly qualified and Ijazah holding teachers, Our children will have some Islamic Studies and fun.
We accept students from 3rd — 12th Grade. The main requirement is the ability to read the Qur'an fluently, and to have a true interest of getting the honor of memorizing the Holy Qur'an.
We will be holding IQRA Hifth School 2017-2018 for Boys and Girls from September 4th, 2017 till June 30th , 2018, from 4:30 to 6:30 PM, Monday-Thursday (The Last 15 days of Ramadan are off). Payments should be made for 10 months in total. (can be made month by month or once for the 10 months) ( after the 10 months, we have 2 months that are optional. That is the summer program usually July and August). Holidays will be the same holidays of wake county schools unless otherwise indicated in the school calendar.
In order to avoid booking seats in the school by students who prove to show no interest, and to give an opportunity to other students who might be waiting to enroll, we must follow the following rules:
-Students who do not show the required progress in their Hifth might be suspended and later on expelled.
-Attendance in school is mandatory. Students who do not maintain enough attendance will be suspended and might be expelled. For online registration, please, fill out the required information below and click submit. **Paper Forms are not accepted anymore.
Please be aware that submitting the form does not necessarily mean that your child has been accepted. Final enrollment will be decided after the interview with the principal, and upon signing the Pledge of Commitment and abidance by the School Rules.
Payment is due at the beginning of each month, or you can pay for the whole year in advance (10 months).
Payment for the whole month is due even if the student misses some or many classes during that month.
One Child: $150 per month; Two Children: $275 per month; Three Children: $ 400 per month

You can also pay with your card at the kiosk in the masjid (make payment to "IQRA Academy Hifth School"), or you can pay us directly by cash or check. Checks must be made to the "Islamic Association of Cary". You have to put the cash/check in an envelope, and write on the envelope: IQRA Hifth School, Student's Full Name, and the Month and/or year you're paying for. Please, drop the envelope in the metal "Donations Box" fixed on the wall outside the Musalla (Prayer Hall).

This authorization shall remain in effect for Hifth School's period which begins in September 4th of the current year and ends in June 30th of the next year, unless revoked in writing and delivered to the Islamic Association of Cary, IQRA Academy.
We hereby give permission for my/our child(ren) to attend the Islamic Association of Cary, IQRA Academy. I give the teachers and school administration permission to take any necessary action in the event of an emergency. We have provided the pertinent medical history and allergies for all students in this form.
**Note: Hijab may not be obligatory yet for all 5th Grade Girls and up, however, we require it for our students attending any of our programs to help them get used to the Islamic dress**
-Hijab (covering the head and the neck)-Jilbab (not necessarily black), abaya, dresses, or skirts (all must be loose and ankle length unless they are worn over loose fitting pants).-Pants must be full length and loose fitting. -Shirts must be loose, long sleeve and must cover the hips at least.-All parts of the clothes must not be transparent, and you should not be able to see through at all.
-Pants must be full length, relatively loose fitting. -Shirts should be loose and covering the hips (not tucked into the pants).
Please, know that students will be asked to contact their parents for a change of clothing if they are not dressed appropriately.
