Feed and Fuel Chinatown Volunteer Form
This form is for those who are interested in volunteering for Chinatown CDC food programs during COVID-19. Chinatown CDC is focused on keeping residents SAFE and fed. In particular, we aim to minimize communal kitchen usage in Chinatown SRO buildings.
Chinatown CDC has 3 types of food programs:
1. Existing food programs that have existed before COVID-19 and will exist after COVID-19. These are grocery type programs such food pantries and bagged groceries, and monthly boxed programs.
2. Hot meal programs established after Shelter In Place that is delivered to our SRO and public housing sites.
3. SRO Family Take Out program where residents go to a designated Chinatown restaurant to pick-up their meals.
CONSISTENCY IS KEY. We hope you can volunteer on multiple days (or even weekly!!!) for the same roles, but we appreciate any help.
**When volunteering with us you will be given PPE such as mask and gloves.**
Due to the nature of COVID-19 being more harmful to seniors, we are turning away volunteers who are over the age of 60. If you are over 60, we encourage you to shelter in place per the city's guidelines. Thank you for your enthusiasm and your understanding.
I am under 60 and wish to volunteer
