Our Nursery introduces children to the loving community found at Church of Our Saviour. Our nursery assistant, Jobada Kachi, has been at Our Saviour since 2013, and has a degree in Early Childhood Education from UMass. Each Sunday, an adult parishioner volunteers with her to ensure a safe and nurturing space to play.

The Toddler Service is held the first Sunday of the month. This 30 minute service of Eucharist, adapted to the needs of very young children, includes a story, music, and movement. Parents and adult caregivers worship with their children, with snacks and social time afterwards. Our priest, Malia Crawford, officiates at this service.

Godly Play is a Montessori-inspired Christian formation curriculum. It helps children nurture their relationship with God by experiencing stories of faith and providing opportunity for open-ended wondering and community-building.

Upper Room, our program for young people in Middle School and older, is on hiatus at present. Upper Room programs are tailored to its members. Please let Fiona know if you have a teen who is interested in joining.

At Church of Our Saviour, Child Wellness and Safety is a priority. The Sunday School team and families work together to provide a safe and nurturing environment for all children. To this end, Sunday School staff and volunteers implement Safe Church practices and meet regularly to discuss Sunday School programming. All volunteers are asked to complete CORI checks.

Additionally, we request that parents agree to the following:
To complete a registration form for the family with details for each child
To greet the teacher and sign your children into the class each Sunday upon arrival
To remain in the building during church school and be available for the children if/when necessary, either during class or when the children join worship

Godly Play - We invite all Godly Play parents and caregivers to be a doorkeeper just three times a year. If you have preferred dates, please sign up on the Sign Up Genius website. After October 1st, we'll finalize the rota for the year by filling in the remaining slots. You can easily swap dates with others at a later date.
