Diversity Day Series: Appleton Migration
Come join the talk as we continue to honor women in our community for Women's History Month. This Diversity Day Series Segment focuses on the life of these women after 1973 in Appleton. Some will think why is that important, well up until 1973 Appleton, WI was a sundown town, a place people of color were not welcome after dark.
Come listen to the incredible stories of these three women. We are blessed to have them be a part of the community and honored to have them here at Appleton West. The event will be held in the school's library. If you don't know how to locate the library email me at freemankempton@aasd.k12.wi.us
