Here's a little more about us:
ReCover Acadiana was founded in 2013 by two board members of The705 to assist in community improvement projects and collaborations. Now, as a non-profit, the organization’s mission is to tackle beautification and blight reduction projects to improve places through collaboration and rogue action. Since 2013, ReCover Acadiana has done projects that address beautification and improvements to transportation and the built environment such as the Library Wall art project, planting over 400 trees in public parks, implemented four Build a Better Block events, installed permanent lighting over McKinley Street, Embraced a Space on Bertrand Drive with quarterly cleanups and many other cleanups, plantings and public art projects.
