Imagine Survey: NSCBC Members/Attenders
Imagine if there were a gospel movement on the North Shore... If thousands of people were meeting Christ, growing as disciples, and serving in Gospel-centered churches.

How will this happen? It will happen when each member of NSCBC is serving alongside one another in unity, using their spiritual gifts and abilities, and generously giving of their time. Everyone at NSCBC has a gift as well as a responsibility to use that gift to grow and impact other people.

But how do we know how each person is gifted, what their ability is to serve, and who is ready and willing?

You are probably familiar with our current way of asking people to serve. You see someone in the hallway at church on Sunday, and they ask you “Hey, are you around to help with moving some chairs next Saturday?” Maybe you get a mass email “Are you able to volunteer in Children’s Worship next month?” “Could you prepare a meal for the upcoming potluck?” “Would you be willing to play in the band?” This email comes to you regardless of your interests, skills, and availability.

We would like to be more strategic in our requests for help, and we would like to truly engage each person’s gifts and abilities, without over-committing the same people each time we need volunteers.

In order to do this, we need to know more about each of you.

These surveys will be read by a member of the survey team and/or a volunteer that will assist with data entry into our church database, United (https://nscbc.ccbchurch.com/app/login.php). Answers will be shared with the elders, deacons, ministry leaders, or staff when appropriate. Otherwise, information will be disseminated as described on each survey page.

Some feedback may trigger a follow-up by church leadership. It is our goal that this follow-up contact will happen by the end of January. It is our commitment to you that we will use this information responsibly.

Gratefully, the survey team
