Mini Memoir: Nonfiction for Young Writers 

 
Students will explore a variety of story structures and introduce the concept of voice. We will practice writing about ourselves and cover topics like metaphor, symbol, dialogue, scene-setting, interior monologue, imagery, and character development.  We will read examples of memoir and write our own and give and receive helpful feedback.  

Open to students in grades 7-12.


Tuesday, 1-3pm.
July 10 - August 14

Each seminar is capped at 15 students and led by Lit Lab and Write Rhode Island instructor Eve Kerrigan.

Location: All classes take place at School One on Providence's East Side.

Fee: $120 (discounts available)
Returning Lit Lab students qualify for a discount.
