The CVCC Library offers hands-on instructional sessions on library research for all CVCC students. Our librarians will work to tailor the sessions to specific courses, assignments and/or students' research topics. Please provide all of the information requested to help our librarians better prepare for your session. Items marked by an asterisk * are required.
We request that you attend the Library Instruction session with your students. This will enable you to see the sources we use and the issues we discuss as part of the Library Instruction session. It also emphasizes to your students the value of research skills and that you view the library session as a necessary component of your course.
The assigned librarian will confirm the appointment with the instructor.
Library Instruction should be requested between three days to one week in advance.
Sessions are usually held in the CAD 205 with 20 PC workstations allowing for optional hands-on training.
Arrangements can also be made for in-class presentations.
