The Sacramento Regional Builders Exchange Education Foundation (SRBXEF) Member Scholarship Program is a member benefit which supports member firms’ employees and their immediate families in their pursuit of continuing education.
Candidates considered will be evaluated on grades, extracurricular activities, employment experience, financial need and completeness of application.
The SRBXEF Scholarship can be used to pursue an approved construction related trade apprenticeship training program or undergraduate or post-graduate degrees in any field. A construction emphasis is not required.
Member firms of the Sacramento Regional Builders Exchange, including employees and their immediate families are eligible to apply.
Eligible candidates include: graduating seniors currently enrolled in high school; students currently in an approved construction related trade or craft training school; and students enrolled in either a community, four‐year college, or graduate program.
Candidates must have a current cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher at their current school. If the student is enrolled in an Industrial Technology Training program, the student must have a recommendation from an instructor.
* Individuals are limited to receiving one SRBXEF Member Scholarship in their lifetime.
Applications will be reviewed by the SRBXEF. Top candidates will be selected for an interview by the Committee on April 10, 2019 and recipients will be selected after interviews are conducted. Awards will be given out at the SRBXEF Design Build Competition at Cosumnes River College on May 2, 2019 at 12 noon.
