Thank you for your interest in the Arab American Cultural Center of Oregon (AACCO) Board of Directors! AACCO is a nonprofit cultural center dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the heritage of Oregon’s diverse Arab American community. We seek to serve as a prominent contributor to Oregon’s cultural development.

By joining our Board of Directors, you are committing to contribute to and promote the richness and beauty of Oregon’s Arab community. Our Board of Directors meets at least one evening per month for 90 minutes at a time. We are a working Board of Directors, so in the weeks and months preceding AACCO events (e.g., our annual Arab Festival or Arab American Heritage Month in April), the Board and its subcommittees may meet on a more frequent basis. We expect all members of the Board of Directors to be actively-engaged in event planning and other work of the Board, including fundraising, grant writing, and other community outreach and service.
