Head of Community - Job Application
Center for Humane Technology
The Center for Humane Technology tackles the problem of how technology overpowers humanity’s paleolithic instincts, externalizing a cascade of harms to individuals as well as our collective society. These harms include enabling addiction, undermining social relationships, spreading propaganda, and manipulating children, to name just a few examples. This is a massive, global problem that directly affects two billion people and counting.

We are dedicated to addressing this problem by creating community-driven humane design standards, policy, and business models that align deeply with our humanity. Our small core team is skilled, mindful, and agile—we partner with an extended team and network across industries, governments and companies, and we expect to grow our core team quickly this year. We are looking for domain-specific experts with startup experience who are up for the challenge of working toward the greater vision while simultaneously adapting to what's unfolding in the world.
