History of the "Hutch Award": This special award was named after Horace F. Hutchinson, nicknamed "Hutch," who lived on Mound Lake for many years.
During that time, Hutch selflessly served our community, extending a helping hand wherever needed. His dedication to service could also be seen in his professional life, where he served as a police officer and obtained the rank of sergeant. His profound impact inspired the Mound Lake Association to establish the award to honor him and recognize those who have followed in his footsteps.
We look forward to continuing his spirit of service and receiving your Hutch Award submissions!
