The CALL FOR PROPOSALS for the 2019 Washington State Canvas Conference (WACC) is now open! The conference will be held Thursday and Friday, March 28-29, 2019 at Tacoma Community College. The 2019 conference theme is Engage!
About WACC
The Washington State Canvas Conference is focused on enriching Canvas and technology users from 34+ colleges and 6 universities across the state. This year we're expanding our reach even further by inviting our Information Technology (IT) colleagues to collaborate and engage with us.

Please fill out this proposal form if you are interested in sharing your excellent ideas and practices. We're open to receiving ALL types of proposals. Some potential topics include engaging students with technology, building community online, equitable and inclusive course design, group work, accessibility, open educational resources (OER), Canvas tips and tricks, innovative hybrid design, badging, gamification, innovative assignment design, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), assessment practices, augmented reality, virtual reality, simulations, and much more!

We are eager to consider your presentation proposal and engage with you. Presenters will be notified of their acceptance by January 31, 2019 and should be prepared to share their presentation materials with us prior to the conference date.

This year's WACC call for proposals also includes information for WA community and technical college faculty, staff, and administrators about applying for the 2019 Connie Broughton Innovation in eLearning Award. Please see Section 4 of this form for details!
