FULSToP - Families Uniting Locally to Solve Tobacco Proliferation - is a community-based partnership designed to advance health equity and reduce tobacco-related health disparities among African American/Black communities.
FULSToP is currently recruiting young adults between the ages of 18 - 24 and youth between the ages of 13 - 17 who are interested in serving on the 2019 - 20 youth-led Community Advocacy Board (CAB).

What Does the CAB Do?
... Implement healthy changes in your community
… Help design and implement FULSToP’s youth-specific programming and activities
… Inform and educate community members and decision-makers about tobacco-related health disparities
What Will I Get From This Experience?
… Participate in leadership and advocacy development training
… Sharpen public speaking skills
… Increase knowledge of current tobacco issues
… Network with other youth advocates in San Diego and Orange Counties
… Increase experience to showcase on your resume/college applications
What Would My Commitment Be?
… Meet twice a month in person
… Attend and participate in local FULSToP sponsored training and events
… Help plan and participate in local tobacco-related activities and campaigns
… Stay in regular communication with FULSToP staff and other CAB members via email, phone, and internet.
Young Adults and Youth Interested in Participating in The CAB Must
… Have an interest in tobacco control and how it affects African American/Black populations
… Be able to serve a 9-month term (October 1, 2019 – June 30, 2020)
… Be able to check email on a regular basis
… Be hard-working, enthusiastic, team players
