Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India
The Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), an autonomous and not-for-profit institute established in 1983, serves as a national resource institute for entrepreneurship education, research, training, and institution-building. Promoted by apex financial institutions like IDBI Bank Ltd., IFCI Ltd., and ICICI Bank Ltd., with support from the Government of Gujarat, EDII aims to develop curriculum, textbooks, and broaden the frontiers of entrepreneurship research, while also establishing networks of researchers and trainers. EDII's vision advocates for institution building to concretize entrepreneurship and has taken on the task of setting up EDII-like institutions across the world, offering technical assistance to developing nations under the aegis of the Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India.
