Foodieodicals will pop up at Smorgasburg LA the weekend of Food Book Fair LA.
Smorgasburg LA is open every Sunday on the five-acre site of the weekday Alameda Produce Market in Downtown Los Angeles, which is part of a larger, new development called ROW DTLA.
We will provide the following:
- A 4-foot table at Foodieodicals with two chairs and umbrella. (The event will take place outside.)- A link to your publication on our website- An opportunity to sell your publication at Foodieodicals
What is a foodieodical?
A foodieodical (food + periodical) is a food-focused magazine, journal, periodical, zine, booklet or otherwise short-format published work about food.
What is Foodieodicals the event?
Foodieodicals is a food magazine festival where foodieodicals from all over the world convene to share their works with the public, engage one another in productive dialogue and have fun.
Is there a registration fee to participate?
Yes. There is a fee for tabling at Foodieodicals. Vendors will receive one 4-foot table with two chairs and an umbrella for $75.
Do I have to be self-published to participate?
No. Any food magazine can fill out an application. Space is limited and applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.
When do I show up and when do I leave?
Load in will likely take place from 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. on Sunday, March 4th and load out likely from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m on Sunday, March 4th. We will provide concrete information on this closer to the event.
How many people should I bring with me?
Due to space restrictions, we ask that each publication bring no more than two representatives.
