Each year RIFLA seeks to highlight members who exemplify what it means to be a dedicated language teacher who promotes high levels of proficiency in the classroom. Nominees should demonstrate professionalism, strive for equity and inclusion and respect cultural diversity. In addition they should show involvement in professional growth in the field, dedication to students and enthusiasm for languages and for teaching.
