CCWC 2020 Call for Breakout Session Speaker Proposals
Thank you for your interest in presenting a breakout session(s) at the 33rd Annual Central California Women’s Conference. #CCWC20 will be on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2020 at the Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center and DoubleTree by Hilton Fresno Convention Center (formerly The Radisson).

We receive many inquiries from potential speakers every year. In order for the conference team to fairly evaluate all proposals, we ask that you submit the information requested below for review and consideration.

Please also be aware that because we are a non-profit with limited financial resources, we are unable to provide honorariums to our speakers. We do, however, provide a hotel room and cover expenses for transportation for out-of-town speakers (flight or mileage reimbursement). We also provide a table for EVERY speaker to sell her/his books and products. Also, many of our speakers receive paid speaking opportunities from organizations or businesses of those attending CCWC. Please note that if you are coming from out of town, you will usually be expected to speak at two breakout sessions.

The CCWC is a one-day, non-profit, nonpartisan event designed to educate, motivate, and inspire women to be the best they can be in their professional and personal lives. CCWC is a forum for women of all generations and backgrounds to share practical ideas about how to succeed in their careers while juggling increasingly complex and diverse life demands. Your proposed session should be appropriate for a diverse group of attendees. Sessions will be one hour in length and session attendance can range from 200 to 600+.

NOTE: If you speak on more than one topic and would like to be considered for two topics, please list both sessions in your proposal. CCWC staff and board will decide if we would like for you to present both topics or just one session.

Each year, we offer exciting new topics in our breakout sessions. We are always looking for fresh, innovative twists on “evergreen” topics such as life success, career advancement, communication skills, social media, work-life balance, leadership skills, fashion, networking, home decorating, relationships, healthy living, financial planning, and community involvement.

Proposals received prior to January 1, 2020 will receive priority consideration, and we encourage you to submit your proposal as early as possible. Upon submitting a proposal, you will receive an email acknowledgement of receipt. If there is a potential opportunity for you to participate as a speaker, you will be contacted for further discussion, and everyone who submits will be contacted either way by the end of April 2020.
