About the Festival
The Back to the Land Festival is the flagship event of the Back to the Land nonprofit. The Back to the Land nonprofit organization was founded in 2020 to create nutritious food solutions for rural residents and provide education that empowers communities to take control of their health, happiness, and future. As part of our mission as well as the festival itself, we lead service projects creating community gardens and food forests in high impact locations such as community centers, schools, churches, and more.

Through the festival, we help beginner to advanced homesteaders grow their skills and become more confident in caring for animals, the land, and their homes and families. The festival includes hands-on demonstrations, topical discussions, networking opportunities, and spiritual community building.

The next festival is scheduled for October 18-20, 2024.
