2021-2022 ASUW Judicial Committee Application
The Judicial Committee has been created to ensure that the actions of the ASUW subscribe to the goals and guidelines as set forth in its Articles of Incorporation, Constitution, and Bylaws. Creation of this Committee is by no means designed as a check on the Board of Directors; rather it is intended to provide the Board of Directors with a resource for further investigation of complex legal and policy issues. The Judicial Committee must, therefore, recognize that the Board of Directors retains the final decision making power of the ASUW with every issue on which the Board of Directors chooses to take action. We will review the Elections Policies and Procedures, Constitutional Amendments, Board Bills and make ruling on elections violations.

Whether you’re a seasoned ASUW veteran or just getting started, the Judicial Committee is a great place to learn the ins and outs of the association!

Committee appointments are on a 2-year basis. Please be advised that this committee meets for one hour a week, Monday's at 4:30-5:30 (can be changed pending student's availability), which may be shortened or lengthened on a case to case basis.

Applicants must be available for the mandatory volunteer training event on November 17th at 4:30pm.
