Event date : Thursday, January 19, 2017

Deadline for proposals: EXTENDED 5 pm on Monday, November 28th, 2016

We are inviting faculty and staff of CUNY to submit proposals for BCC’s Fourth Annual Conference on Community College Excellence. The theme of this year’s conference is "Bridging the Gap: Evidence-based Practices That Lead to Reflection, Redesign and Transformation." This conference will provide an opportunity for colleagues to present on research and activities that improve outcomes for our students by focusing on issues that affect student success, institutional capacity and service.

Each proposal will be evaluated on its clarity, strength and merit of this abstract. The proposal acceptance subcommittee will be using a rubric to evaluate each proposal. The rubric can be found here: (https://goo.gl/zG7mCM). A well thought out, well written proposal abstract will indicate the professional quality and rigor of the presentation and garner higher acceptance to this conference.
