Transition Training - Roadmap to Success for NEW Special Education Teachers on Oct. 27th
This is a repeat of the well attended transition training we had last year for special education teachers. We are offering it again for those NEW special education teachers serving Middle & High School transition-aged students OR for those sped teachers who were not able to attend due to scheduling conflicts.

This training will focus on the many facets of transition planning and how to align the IEP to your student's post-secondary expectations. We will cover many topics, including updates on Age of Majority, Voc Rehab, and County Services, just to name a few.

The training will be held at Prairie Lakes AEA in Pocahontas on Thursday, Oct. 27th and will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. & end at 3:00 p.m. Lunch is on your own.

A minimum of 25 attendees is required, with a maximum of 60 attendees. Registration will close on Friday, Oct. 14th. You will receive an email confirming the status of this training after the registration deadline.
