Detailed Expertise and Skill Mapping of Tigraian Professionals/Intellectuals
PREFACE
Welcome to the Global Society of Tigraian Scholars’ (GSTS) expertise and skill mapping digital registry page. GSTS is a registered, not-for-profit and non-partisan association/knowledge network of Tigraian scholars, professionals, and intellectuals with a core mission aimed at building a knowledge-based economy and society in Tigrai and beyond.
Following the 2019 Tigrai Grand Conference resolution and follow-up meetings with the regional government and other stakeholders, the global society of Tigraian Scholars has been restructuring the research (R) and development (D) oriented thematic areas. The categorization has duly considered existing and forecast scenarios of the development strategies, directions, endeavors, and demand of the Tigrai regional state, Tigrai people, and beyond. GSTS currently has more than 2,300 registered Tegaru professionals in its digital database. However, some of those who registered did so under general fields of study. Hence, the detailed mapping in accord with the newly reorganized R & D teams has emerged as both timely and of paramount importance.
Following the restructuring of the fields into 30 thematic areas, GSTS jointly with the Tigrai regional government is currently entering into new sets of practical engagements, including the development of the Tigrai Grand Road Map and other large-scale activities. These and others supply and demand-driven undertakings call for the proper organization and utilization of our human capital (i.e. knowledge, capacities, skills, etc.).
Therefore, we call upon all to take a few minutes to fill out this digital form.
