General Walker Registration

Pursue Unity is an annual campaign where a group of scholars and supporters walk the entire length of Western Ave. in Chicago to raise funds and awareness for the emerging leaders of Pursue Scholars.

This 24-mile journey of 197 blocks leads walkers through a diverse landscape of neighborhoods and allows interaction with a wide range of cultures, some of which are home to Pursue Scholars and alumni.

We envision our scholars becoming leaders who bridge divides and open channels of communication that will lead to a healthier future for everyone who lives in their neighborhoods.

Join us on June 3rd, 2023 to be a part of this unity movement in our city.

Support Station 2 - St. Rita High School, walkers pass through around 7:30 am

Support Station 3 - McKinley Park, walkers pass through around 9:30 am

Support Station 4 - Roberto Clemente High School, walkers pass through around 11:30 am *LUNCH SERVED HERE*

Support Station 5 - Welles (Gideon) Park, walkers pass through around 2:30 pm

End Station 6 - Wintrust Bank at 7555 N Western Ave, walkers pass through around 4:00 pm

General registration is $10 per walker.
