Thank you for inquiring about our cycling trip to southern France in October which includes Haute Route Ventoux. It is a 8 day/7 night package with a max cap of 10 people. Cycling will begin on Tuesday allowing riders to enjoy the stunning Bedoin region of Provence in the warm autumn weather. For the first few days we will follow quiet roads snaking through vineyards and quaint towns and bask in the beauty of the region as we prepare for the feature presentation at weeks end. Haute Route Ventoux will begin on Friday and conclude on Sunday afternoon. It will give riders the opportunity climb all three sides of the “Giant of Provence”, as well as quiet, rolling country roads around its base. There is just no better way to wrap up your season other than a 360 degree view from the top of Ventoux!

We will be staying in a 5 star AirBnB in Bedoin, just blocks away from the Haute Route Event Village in the center of town. This premium location will allow our guests to take advantage of comprehensive rider services during the event as well the freedom to walk to and enjoy local cuisine, wine, and cultural attractions.

DATES: Arrive Monday, Sept 28 and depart Monday, Oct 5, 2020. Cycling will be Tuesday thru Sunday.  

COST: $3250 USD per person. This includes airport transfers to and from Marseilles, France, Airbnb accommodations, a chef preparing breakfast, lunch and most dinners, bike rental and Haute Route Event entry. Airfare is not included.
 
You will need to be healthy and in shape for this trip, it is challenging and will push you to your limits. This is not a trip to learn how to ride a bike, you will need to train through the months leading up to the trip in order to enjoy your week. Terrain varies but there will definitely be significant climbing Friday, Saturday and Sunday. How much depends on your ability and which Haute Route course you elect to ride, but count on daily elevation.
