Those of us who are wealthy often have personal connections to other people with financial, institutional, and political power. We may be the only ones who believe in a ceasefire, or funding Palestinian work, that they will consider listening to. But many of us are afraid or unsure about how to have productive conversations with those in our community who it may be difficult to talk to. This session will focus on building skills and practice to give us more confidence and support to have those conversations. It will also address this question: Once we move people into action for the first time, how can we keep the momentum going and think together about what healthy, sustainable support and the long-term commitment that Palestinians will need should look like?
This event is brought to you by Funding Freedom and co-sponsored by Resource Generation Action, Solidaire Action, Women Donors Network, Grassroots International and Donors of Color Action.
