SAAF Food Vendor Application

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Food or Beverage Vendor at the Snake Alley Art Fair in Burlington, Iowa!

Important Information:
  • Application Submission: Filling out this form does not guarantee acceptance.
  • Notification of Acceptance: You will be notified within 7 days of submitting your application.
  • Payment: Cost is $150 per food vendor. Payment is due once your application is accepted.
  • You keep 100% of your sales during the event!

Once accepted, you will receive an invoice via email that can be paid online. If you prefer, checks can be made out to the Art Center of Burlington and mailed to 301 Jefferson St, Burlington, Iowa 52601.

What is your Iowa Sales Tax Number?
  • All sales are subject to a 7% sales tax – a 6% State of Iowa sales tax and a 1% local-option tax.
  • The Iowa Dept of Revenue no longer provides a temporary tax permit. Snake Alley Art Fair committee is required to provide a list of all artist participants (Iowans and out-of-staters) to the Iowa Dept of Revenue with their Tax ID number prior to the event.
  • If you do not have a sales tax permit, you may apply here: https://www.idr.iowa.gov/CBA/start.asp.
  • If you have any questions on applying for a sales tax permit, please contact Patricia Cooper, Revenue Agent at (515)802-7999.
Do you need electricity? We have very limited access to 220 volt electricity. First come, first serve.
What kind of food and/or drinks will you provide? Please email jamie@btownart.com a copy of your menu, if possible as well as a few quality images of your product that can be used to help promote you before the event. *
