This scholarship is for incoming students who will participate in theatre at the University of Dubuque, regardless of major. Students may receive a University of Dubuque Theatre Participation Scholarship for up to four years if they meet the minimum participation requirements. Participation requirements are flexible and inclusive of all areas of theatre (performance,* technical, crew work, etc.) and theatrically-related projects.

* Theatre and musical theatre performance roles may require an audition and are not guaranteed.

To be considered for a renewable Theatre Participation Scholarship, please fill out this form, email examples of theatre experience to UDTheatre@dbq.edu, and make an interview appointment with the director of theatre arts. Please refer to the Theatre Participation Scholarship webpage for a list of required application components to complete.
