AVP Workshop Registration Form
Hello!

Please fill in the form below if you would like to register for an AVP workshop or AVP Information session (Mini-workshop).

Mini-workshops or previews are 1-4 hour sessions that introduce the AVP process to participants who want to know more about AVP before committing to an entire workshop. They can also be used to explore specific topics related to conflict, how to resolve them in healthy, non-violent ways, and what blocks our being able to resolve conflicts. There is no charge for a Mini-workshop or introductory session.

We are currently conducting regular workshops at Plainfield Correctional Facility, Correctional Industrial Facility, and Pendleton Correctional Facility. Community workshops are scheduled when we have enough interest to conduct them. If you know a group of 10-12 people who are interested and would like to attend a Community workshop, please let us know by emailing us and we will be happy to work with you. Please see the list of currently available workshops below.

There are Virtual Zoom AVP workshops being conducted by local groups across the country. If we are not offering an in person workshop you can attend and would like to take a workshop online, please visit the AVP-USA website at https://avpusa.org/get-involved/take-a-workshop/ to find information on upcoming workshops.

For all mini-workshops, there is no fee to attend, however, donations are accepted via the PayPal button on our website. For Community in-person weekend or Zoom workshops the sliding scale is from $0-$60. There is no charge for prison workshops. We are completely volunteer funded so please donate if you are able. However, you will not be turned away for lack of funds! High school students may always attend free of charge. (All funds collected go towards workshop supplies, the purchasing of manuals for our inside facilitators, food for workshops if applicable, and AVP scholarships for high school students).
Do you have any dietary restrictions? (These questions apply to Community Workshops only.)
Where are you currently located?
If workshop is not in an area within easy driving distance, please indicate whether you would need a place to stay. (Typically housing is with local friends.) For Zoom workshops, please enter N/A.
Have you taken an AVP workshop in another location? If so, please indicate where, when, and what level.
Experience with AVP is not a requirement for attending a Basic workshop. Other levels require the previous level.
