Once you have been approved to move forward in the process, a HARP volunteer will contact you. Please look for an email from harpadoption@gmail.com . Try looking in your spam folder if you haven't heard from us. Please be patient as we are an entirely volunteer based program.

In order to adopt from HARP, one must agree to keep this bird in their home as a pet. The bird may not be sold, bred, given away, or released in any fashion. If circumstances change, the bird must be returned to Heartland Avian Rescue Project. Do you agree?
