NDSS '23 PC Nomination and Self-Nomination

As one of the top four security conferences with a distinct systems flavor, we are looking for excellent volunteers that provide honest and positive reviews to the community. Nominate yourself or others to serve on the NDSS '23 program committee and help cultivate the positive NDSS spirit!

PC members are expected to write their own reviews, be able to argue the merits of papers for which they are responsible and provide constructive feedback to authors. We are committed to ensuring high quality reviews and a high quality program, both of which depend critically on the PC members respecting these commitments. We will provide further instructions and information regarding reviewing best practices soon. NDSS has set no limits on submissions by program committee members. However, Program Chairs may not submit papers.

We are aware that reviewing is hard work. We have carefully aligned the deadlines to minimize overlap with other conferences and to enable reviewers breaks between reviewing deadlines. NDSS is known for its constructiveness, openness, and review quality. With acceptance of this invitation, we ask you to commit to review excellence and look forward to great discussions on amazing papers. In 2022, reviewers, on average, reviewed on total 7 papers during the first round and 14 papers during the second round. We plan to expand the PC to lower the number of papers each reviewer has to review this year.

NDSS '23 will have two submission cycles, a summer cycle and a fall cycle. Each cycle will have two rounds of reviewing (R1 and R2). The CfP is available at https://www.ndss-symposium.org/ndss2023-call-for-papers/ .

Fri May 13, 2022: Paper submission deadline and start of R1 phase (4 weeks)
Tue May 17: Paper bidding deadline
Fri Jun 10: R1 deadline, followed by online discussion
Fri Jun 17, 2022: Early reject notification, followed by R2 (4 weeks)
Fri Jul 15, 2022: R2 deadline, followed by online discussion
