To the Parents and Students of BCRMTA Members and Student Teacher Auxiliary Members,

Your teacher has sent you this form as you have expressed interest in joining the BCRMTA Student Composers’ Club. This exciting new Club will meet monthly online for 60 minutes and will provide an encouraging and supportive atmosphere in which students can learn about composing, hear each others’ compositions, and exchange ideas.

Meetings will be online commencing Sunday October 22 at 7:00-8:00pm with host Katya Pine. Participants will receive an email reminder and zoomlink for each session one week in advance. There is no fee to join the Club.

The suggested level of experience is either practical Level 5 RCM, BCCM, CC etc. on any instrument, OR age 10 and up. If you're not sure, please consult your teacher and fill in the form with a note in the comment box at the end.

The information requested in this form will be used by the coordinators for the following purposes:

- to gather the contact information from interested students,

- to determine the general level of knowledge and thereby gear the sessions appropriately,

- to collect parental consent to allow their child to participate, if student is under 18 years of age.

The information will remain private and will not be shared under any circumstances.
