Move Up Global Fellowship 

Our fellowship program offers an opportunity to participate in an education and global health immersion program in rural Rwanda. Fellows support interventions related to education enrichment and prevention of malnutrition and neglected tropical diseases. They also have an opportunity to collaborate with local communities on the design and implementation of interventions to tackle persistent gaps in population health including malnutrition, health education, menstrual hygiene, reproductive health, oral health, and One Health needs.

MUG fellows work closely as a team with each other and with our local partners, and there can be unpredictability in living and working in community in rural Rwanda.  *

While exact travel dates may vary, these time frames will give an idea of the cohorts.

Please briefly describe your plan for funding this program. Fellows are required to cover the $3400 program fee, PLUS their own travel to and from Kigali airport, and required travel insurance. A funding plan is required at the time of application and all funds must be transferred to Move Up Global before travel to Rwanda.
