Applicants will be judged on the level of personal involvement within a local community/charity/organization – time, money, materials, and other resources contributed by the Applicant will be considered.
Applicant Eligibility:1. Applicants must be active REALTOR® or Affiliate members of KAAR in good standing.2. Individuals and pairs of Applicants (couples, co-founders) may apply, so long as both are active KAAR REALTOR® members and their community involvement is so interconnected that it cannot be separated.3. Community Involvement noted in the Application should have taken place within the last 12 months and within KAAR’s 12-county region. Ongoing/active community involvement is preferred.4. Named Charity may be nationwide or local, but must serve communities within KAAR’s 12-county region.5. Prior Good Neighbor Award Winners are not eligible.
Application Requirements & Questions:1. Deadline for submission is Friday, January 25, 2019.2. No application fee is required. 3. Applications may be submitted by the Applicant him/herself, or by a fellow REALTOR® member of KAAR on the Applicant’s behalf.4. Winner Recognition:The Good Neighbor Award winner will be recognized at an awards meeting on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at The Press Room and KAAR will also contribute $500 to the winner’s named charity. All advertising shall contain the full name "Knoxville Area Association of REALTORS® [Year] Good Neighbor Award Winner." Awards shall be for the calendar year.
