Volunteer with Global Classrooms DC (2021-2022)
Established in 2003, Global Classrooms® DC (GCDC) is the flagship education program of the United Nations Association of the National Capital Area (UNA-NCA). Through original global education curriculum and Model UN mini-simulations, GCDC educates students grades 5-12 on international issues and the work of the United Nations, and strengthens key skills including public speaking, negotiation, and writing and prepares globally aware citizens.

2. MODEL UN MENTOR: Engage with classrooms to help students and teachers learn skills important to Model United Nations, prepare for Model UN Conferences, run mini-simulations, and more! Prior Model UN experience required.
3. POLICY ADVISOR: Act as the “home government” to various delegations at the Fall Training Conference and/or the Spring Model UN Conference. Advise student delegates on their country’s positions, alliance-building, and resolution-writing.
