This list is a valuable communications tool used by City and County agencies to engage the community on public initiatives, meetings, and projects that may impact their neighborhoods. Uses include:
• The Planning Department uses this list to notify neighborhood leaders and residents of rezoning petitions and planning processes. • Other government departments and agencies may use this list to provide information about things of interest to local residents, including special events, training, grants and other neighborhood opportunities. • Finally, the general public as well as the development community employs this list to build organizational coalitions, to obtain community input on private sector projects and other purposes.
